Current position
Junior Production Department Master in the department for CNC milling machines
I started my professional career as a numerically controlled milling machine operator and during my seven years in my first job I gained extensive knowledge in controlling Haidenhain iTnc 530, TNC 620 and 640. During this time, I successfully created foundry patterns, moulds, core boxes and various milled parts, where my skills in dealing with small dimensional tolerances were particularly in demand.
After realising that I had achieved all possible goals in my previous company, I decided to take on a new professional challenge. My path led me to Rawicz. I learnt about BODE through my brother-in-law because he had already worked with the company. The opportunity to work in a larger team environment and to develop myself was a big incentive for me to join BODE. I checked the vacancies on the website and submitted my application the same day. During the interview, the production manager at the time offered me the position I have today.
One project that I found particularly interesting was welding a door with a robot. The robot made it possible to achieve perfection in the entire welding process and speed up production.
I am very happy that I was given different tasks than in my previous position as an operator. I appreciate working with people, planning individual details on milling machines and analysing production plans.
In my opinion, teamwork also works very well at BODE. All departments co-operate with each other to eliminate technical problems, speed up the production process and implement new solutions. In my department, I particularly notice the co-operation when we introduce a new project.
My career decisions have always been guided by certain values, including the work culture, the financial earning potential and the possible career path. As a CNC operator, both in my previous job and at BODE, I am a living example of how to develop professionally.
I took advantage of the opportunity to develop at BODE and gained valuable experience that also helped me grow personally. Many colleagues took the time to prepare me for my new job right from the start. I didn't know that from other companies and it was a valuable experience for me to see how much BODE works together.
Other employees at BODE also have many opportunities to develop, starting with on-the-job training and learning from experienced colleagues, through to a wide range of further training or an internal change of job.
What I always heard when I started working is: "Don't come here without your notebook". For this reason, my advice to new colleagues is that they should always have a notebook and pen handy. Writing down key points, making drawings and jotting down comments from other colleagues is, in my opinion, the best way to find your way around a new company. The faster knowledge is acquired, the faster skills can be demonstrated. Don't be afraid to ask questions, because there are no stupid questions and it can only help. Invest in yourself and your development, it's the best thing you can do for yourself. Your success is you!
