Tell us briefly about yourself and your current position at BODE. How did you end up working for BODE?

My name is Lena, I am 28 years old and I work at BODE in the Quality Management department as a Quality Management Specialist. I am responsible for internal and external audits, document/process control and our integrated management system in ConSense.

My professional career at BODE began with my training as an industrial mechanic, after graduating I worked in production for a few years. Finally, I applied for an internal job advertisement and switched to Quality Management Assurance. After several further training courses in quality management, I took the opportunity to continue my career at BODE, started my Bachelor's degree and finally moved to my current position, which opened up further career opportunities. 

I successfully completed my studies in February 2024.

What tasks are part of your daily work routine?

My daily work routine includes the following tasks, among others:

• Audit action monitoring / methodical support during processing
• Coordination/planning of internal/external audits
• Administration of the ConSense integrated management system
• Process optimization
• Coordination/creation of annual process reviews/management assessments

Is there a project at BODE that you particularly enjoyed working on? Why?

A special project for me was the "process mapping" in 2022, where all of BODE's processes were remapped and improved with all departments. This enabled us to make the processes more efficient. I particularly enjoyed working with this team during this intensive period and gained a great deal of experience.

How does BODE support the professional development of its employees?

BODE supports the professional progress of its employees, and I myself will now be taking part in an individual development program after successfully completing my Bachelor's degree.

What advice would you give to new employees who are just starting at BODE?

I can give new employees the following advice: Have the courage - no master has ever fallen from the sky. Show initiative and courage, only those who want to achieve something themselves will ultimately succeed!
