At BODE, students in the practice network complete industrial vocational training in combination with a studies specializing in mechanical engineering at the University of Kassel. Our company provides financial support for this.
The apprenticeship usually lasts eight semesters at the University of Kassel and concludes with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in mechanical engineering. You will complete the practical phases in our company during the lecture-free period. After an apprenticeship period of approx. three years, you will also receive a vocational qualification as an industrial mechanic if you pass the examination.

- Production of components with handcrafted tools and machinery

- Manufacture of simple assemblies and maintenance of technical systems

- Production of individual parts with machine tools
- Installation and commissioning of control systems
Practical phase 4
- Assembly of technical sub-systems and production on numerically controlled machine tools
Practical phase 5
- Repair, manufacture, and commissioning of technical systems
- Maintenance of technical systems
- Monitoring of product and process quality
- Assurance of the serviceability of automated systems
- Planning, implementation, and optimization of technical systems
